A first-of-its-kind app
Our client had developed a printed guide to help customers troubleshoot mechanical seal failures, with original photography highlighting more than sixty types of failures. Rather than printing and distributing the guide, we felt it was better to turn it into an app to create a more intimate digital engagement. This would allow users to interact with experts who could help identify and resolve problems. The challenge was developing the app for multiple platforms — web, iOS and Android — and doing so within the budget. We took a hybrid approach, developing it for the web first, and then expanding to native mobile platforms. Initial user response to the tool has been positive.
