This role requires: fluency in various forms of writing for business-to-business marketing; the capacity to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities; the ability to meet deadlines in a team environment; strong interpersonal skills; and an over-the-top work ethic. Responsibilities

  • Subject matter expertise
    • Researches clients’ products/services/brands to ensure the ability to write accurate, on-target content for assigned projects
    • Conducts professional interviews with client subject matter expert(s)
    • Assumes role as subject matter expert for clients’ products and services
  • Copywriting
    • Develops outlines and content strategies for assigned projects
    • Writes copy in format-appropriate tone and style
    • Edits client-provided or other copywriters’ content
    • Works with clients and account executives to see projects through final approval
  • Creative platforms and themes
    • Participates in the development of campaign and promotional themes
    • Produces original, outside-the-box headlines and/or themes
  • Workflow
    • Follows internal processes for version control and proofreading

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Communicates clearly and courteously via telephone and email as well as in person
  • Has a strong work ethic in a team environment
  • Ability to write and produce content within tight deadlines
  • Strong understanding of AP style and usage
  • Business-to-business acumen and demonstrated technical writing capability
