TriComB2B Receives Seven Awards From Society for Technical Communication
VANDALIA, OH – TriComB2B, a Vandalia, Ohio, B2B marketing agency, received seven awards at the 2009-10 Effective Communication Competition of the West Michigan Shores Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC). The awards were presented at a recent banquet in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Those TriComB2B employees receiving awards in the competition were:
- Technical Art: Bryan Furrey and Melissa Lorenz – This duo received an award of excellence for a series of technical binder covers designed for Richards’ Industries. Furrey also received an award of merit for display graphics of the MP1 multiphase twin-screw pump, a Flowserve Corporation product.

Technical Publications:
- Melissa Lorenz, Jack Lilienthal and Lori Erion – This group was honored with an award of excellence for creating a renewable energy application guide for Flowserve. This detailed guide presented a unique overview of the renewable energy market, including sections on concentrated solar power, geothermal, biomass power, ocean power and offshore wind power.
- Audia Felzien and the TriComB2B production team – This team received a merit award for a product reference manual of the Flowserve WX pump.

- Chris Eifert – Eifert was recognized with an award of excellence for his work on a promotional video about the Flowserve MP1 multiphase pump. He also received a merit award for an animated video of the shear ring assembly of Flowserve’s WCC pump.
- Jon Berry – Berry was honored with an award of excellence for his work on digital animation highlighting the benefits of a compressor designed by Emerson Climate Technologies.
