TriComB2B Principal, Chris Eifert, Co-Presents Webinar Titled “5 Ways to End the Discount Dance”
(VANDALIA, Ohio) November 15, 2011 – Chris Eifert, TriComB2B Principal, co-presented a webinar titled “5 Ways to End the Discount Dance.” The one-hour webinar focused on understanding which factors influence the business to business (B2B) buyer and how to overcome “price focus” and “discounting pressure” when positioning products and services to this audience. Together with Tom Pisello, Chairman and Founder of Alinean, the webinar presented and interpreted key aspects of “The Considered Purchase Decision”, a collaborative research project between TriComB2B and the University of Dayton.
The Webinar content focused on the importance of price and total cost of ownership while also exploring the importance of other value-based messages to B2B buyers and decision makers. Mr. Pisello used the research as a backdrop for his discussion on techniques for proactively addressing price and how to proactively engage and connect with today’s more frugal buyer. The Webinar can be viewed here.
