John Buscemi Elected to Homefull Board of Trustees

John Buscemi, TriComB2B Principal, was recently elected to the board of trustees of Homefull, a non-profit organization formerly known as The Other Place. Homefull provides a comprehensive continuum of care and services to individuals in Dayton and Montgomery County who are at risk of homelessness, who are currently homeless and those who have previously been homeless. Evolving from a volunteer-run daytime homeless shelter serving 20 people on its first day back in 1988, the organization now serves more than 550 people each day with a variety of assistance, including:

A homelessness prevention program
Housing relocation
Street outreach
Case management
Rapid re-housing
Traditional re-housing
Mental health service
Supportive services in housing

“I am very honored to have been chosen for this position,” said Buscemi who will serve a one-year term offered specifically to Leadership Dayton graduates. “Homefull is a vital organization dedicated to overcoming homelessness in the community. I look forward to joining in this worthwhile mission.”
