TriComB2B Associates Join Hands To Make a Difference in the Community
Several TriComB2B´s associates decided to put the idea of "many hands make light work" into practice by joining in "Make a Difference Day" on Oct. 25 at Possum Creek MetroPark in Dayton. "Make a Difference Day" was part of Join Hands Miami Valley, a coordinated partnership effort that brought together approximately 950 volunteers throughout the Miami Valley on Oct. 24 and 25.
Representing TriComB2B at Possum Creek Metropark were: Bryan Furrey, Michael Glass, Tim Short, Melissa Lorenz, Cathy Bratton, Annie Buscemi, John Buscemi and Rhonda Ryerson. The volunteers collected trash-related items from the shorelines of several ponds at the Possum Creek facility. Metropark representatives were also on hand to supply gloves, trash bags, snacks and water for the TriComB2B crew.
As part of Join Hands Miami Valley, volunteers from across the Miami Valley tackled 83 community service projects sponsored by local nonprofit organizations, government agencies, faith-based collaboratives and other groups. The volunteers contributed nearly 3,000 hours of a service at a value of more than $60,126, according to the Dayton United Way.
In addition to numerous created ponds, Possum Creek MetroPark also features bottomland hardwood forests, two mature beech woodlots and wetlands. Formerly degraded farmland and dumps, Possum Creek Metropark´s more than 100 acres have been cleared and planted into native Ohio prairie. After taking years to establish, Possum Creek Metropark is now one of the largest and most diverse planted prairies in Ohio.
"We had a great time working together while improving the park environment," said John Buscemi, principal at TriComB2B. "It was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the outdoors as we helped the community."

Marketing and Communications Agency Is Re-Branded To Showcase Company's B2B Technical Expertise
An Ohio marketing and communications agency is being re-branded to showcase its business-to-business technical expertise. TriComB2B, formerly TriComB2B Marketing and Communications, is undergoing the change to highlight the agency’s specialized experience in marketing technical products and services. The company is also being re-branded to underscore its technical capabilities to its chief client base – industrial manufacturers and technology-based companies. The re-branding effort includes a new company name and tagline, as well as a redesigned logo and Web site.
Established in 1984, TriComB2B has concentrated primarily in business-to-business marketing of technical products and services since its inception. Its current clientele includes manufacturers and providers of: process equipment; electronics; climate control systems; electronic enclosures; data center solutions; engineered fasteners and assemblies for automotive, commercial and industrial applications; construction and engineering services; and medical implants and instruments.
“The re-branding of our agency is a unique opportunity to emphasize our strengths to the industrial and technical markets we serve,” said Chris Eifert, TriComB2B principal. “Going to market as just another marketing communications agency didn’t provide the differentiation we needed to achieve our vision for this business. With our new brand, we are building a distinctive identity that will allow us to more easily attract clients nationally.”
The new tagline for the company is: “Smart. Strategic. Technical.” “The new tagline will demonstrate our company’s promise to deliver smart, strategic marketing solutions for our technical clients,” said John Buscemi, also a TriComB2B principal. “It is also indicative of three key attributes that will serve as our foundation for growth: business acumen, industry knowledge and technical aptitude.”
“In addition to reflecting our new brand, our new Web site will provide outstanding services to our clients,” Buscemi added. “We will soon be offering extranet features through our Web site that will provide clients with single portal access for trade show system login, real-time literature fulfillment reporting and digital asset management for all their projects.”
The TriComB2B staff of account managers, artists, developers, copywriters, production managers and warehouse personnel provide a full range of marketing services, including: strategic marketing research such as planning and branding; development and implementation of marketing and communications plans; advertising; public relations; Web-based solutions; electronic media; literature development; direct marketing; trade show services; and literature fulfillment. The agency serves its client base from its headquarters in Vandalia and through its strategic partner in Manchester, UK.
